Tickets for Green Day’s next UK tour go on sale at 9am, Friday 6 November 2009. They’re playing the Lancashire Cricket Ground on 16 June 2010 and London Wembley Stadium on 19 June 2010.

Green Day wowed crowds on their recent tour with their combination of frenzied punk energy, theatrical flourishes and euphoric crowd participation. Their status as one of the world’s most electrifying live bands is almost unrivalled.

With a huge back catalogue of hits including ‘Basket Case’, ‘Longview’, ‘Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)’, ‘Minority’, ‘American Idiot’, ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends’, ‘Know Your Enemy’ and ’21 Guns,’ it’s no surprise their recent gigs have sold out.

The shows in June 2010 are Green Day’s first UK stadium dates since their two-night stand at Milton Keynes National Bowl in 2005. They blew their audiences away then and you would be a fool to miss out this time!

Their latest album, 21st Century Breakdown, topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic when it was released earlier this year. The album’s title track will be released as a single on 7 December 2009 and these stadium dates should be your first chance to see it performed live.
